Finuvo

Privacy Policy

Last updated:

This Privacy Policy applies to Finuvo (the “App”), published by One matrix (“we,” “our,” or “us”). Your privacy matters. This document explains what data we collect, how we use it, if/when we share it, and the rights and choices available to you.

Data We Collect

  • App data (local-only): Your transactions, categories, investment items, settings and similar information are stored on your device (e.g., SharedPreferences/secure local storage). We do not upload this data to our servers.
  • File export: When you export CSV, the file is generated on-device and saved only in the location you choose through the system “Save As” picker.
  • Advertising data (third-party): We use Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to show ads (including rewarded ads). Google may collect device/advertising identifiers, approximate location, and engagement metrics as described in Google’s policies.
  • Crash/diagnostic data (platform/SDK-level): Your device’s OS or third-party SDKs may collect anonymized crash or performance information to improve stability.

How We Use Your Data

We use local data solely to power app functionality: calculating reports and charts, showing insights, and generating exports you request. We use AdMob to serve ads (including rewarded ads) which may process certain data as described in Google’s policies.

Legal Bases & Consent (where applicable)

  • Legitimate interests: Operating and improving Finuvo, ensuring security and fraud prevention.
  • Consent: Where required (e.g., EU/EEA/UK), we may request consent for cookies/personalized ads. You may select non-personalized ads.
  • Contract/performance: Providing the features you request (e.g., export).
  • Compliance: Meeting legal obligations where applicable.

Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not upload your personal finance data (transactions/categories/investments) to our servers, nor do we sell it. Ads are served by Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) which may process data under Google’s policies.

Cookies & Tracking

Finuvo itself does not set its own tracking cookies. AdMob or platform services may use identifiers for ads or analytics. You can reset your device advertising ID or limit ad tracking from OS settings.

Analytics

We do not use our own analytics to track your financial data. Any aggregate diagnostics or crash data handled by OS/SDKs is used solely to improve stability and user experience.

Data Retention

Your app data remains on your device until you delete it (e.g., clearing app data or uninstalling). Exported CSV files remain wherever you saved them until you delete them.

Data Security

We rely on your device’s security features (e.g., screen lock/biometrics). Please secure your device and be careful when exporting and storing CSV files.

Your Rights & Choices

  • Access & control on-device: You can edit/delete your data within Finuvo or clear app data/uninstall.
  • Export control: You choose where CSV files are saved; you can delete them anytime.
  • Ads preferences: Choose personalized or non-personalized ads (where required a consent dialog will appear). You can also limit ad tracking from OS settings.
  • GDPR/CCPA-style rights: Where applicable, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing. Since we don’t host your finance data server-side, most actions are performed by you on-device.
  • Do Not Track: We don’t respond to DNT signals directly; use OS ad-tracking limits for best results.

International Data Considerations

Ad networks and SDK providers (e.g., Google) may process data across jurisdictions. Where applicable, we rely on their published safeguards and standard contractual mechanisms.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page and reflected in the “Last updated” date.
